Yash’ inkani (Perseverance)
Long walk to recognition (1985 to 2007)

Yash’ inkani is a distinctive project where for the first time maskandi music is properly blended with horns and other solo instruments featuring interludes and cross-over. The music is traditional Zulu maskandi music fused with different influences such as Afro Jazz, Soul, Marabi, Mbhaqanga, Kwaito, etc

Yash’ inkani “Perseverance” Tribute to iNkosi (Chief) Bhambatha is a call for all Africans to free themselves from colonial and mental slavery, and open a new page for self-consciousness, peace, reconciliation, unity, pride and identity.
In such solo project, Nkwanyana is working with a team of World acclaimed musicians i.e.
